frequently asked questions

My child has special needs (such as learning difference, twice-exceptionality, ADHD, etc.). Can you help?

Of course we can! Integration specializes in helping students from all walks of life and with a variety of learning needs. Our goal is to provide specific and comprehensive support, however that may look for your unique learner.

Do we need to travel across town to meet at your office? My schedule is already overloaded as it is.

Not to worry! Integration offers service at an agreed upon location that works best for the family. Typically, this takes place in the parent home; however, our specialists are flexible when it comes to appropriate meeting places for sessions.

How long is each session?

Session lengths are agreed upon at the initial consultation and reflect time acknowledgments that work best for the family and child, based on specialist availability. For as-needed clients, the minimum session time is one hour. For regular or weekly clients, occasional exceptions can be made. No session will last for less than thirty minutes.

What if I need to cancel?
For cancellations made 24 hours in advance, there is no cost to the client. Cancellations made within a 24-hour window will incur a fee equal to 50% of the cost of a typical one-hour session.
How will I know about my child’s progress?
Each session includes specialist notes that outline assignments or skills-building activities covered. Integration prides itself on ensuring that communication between client and specialist is open, clear, and thorough. We also offer regular grade updates based on student LMS reports if desired.
Do we need to meet regularly, or can we access services as needed?
Ideally, we recommend clear and consistent contact between student and specialist to ensure best possible outcomes. Integration understands, however, that life can be busy and schedules can be unpredictable. So, we do offer as-needed services.
Do you only help with writing?
Integration helps students with all subjects from K-12 and beyond.
Do sessions have to be in person?
Integration offers both in-person as well as remote sessions. We strive to accommodate all of your child’s learning needs, including the modality that works best for them.
